Detailed description
Your field of duties:
- Oversee functional aspects of Turning Lab
- Manage the development of turning and grinding machines for machinery manufacturing systems, including developing customized solutions for Vertical Shaft Machining
- Oversee customization and installation of machinery at customer sites
- Improve processes and reduce cycle times. Support project management and provide technology support for in-house proposal generation
- Maintain state of the art technology knowledge as it pertains to Turning Machine technology
- Requires domestic travel to customer sites (approx. 50% of time)
Your technical and personal qualifications:
- Requires 2 years of experience installing and commissioning programmable manufacturing Turning and grinding machines using FANUC and SIEMENS Control Systems
- CNC and PlC programming
- Reading of mechanical drawings
- Electrical and electronics controls
- Hydraulic and pneumatic control systems
- Mechanical assembly of machine tools
